Collection of memories, any memories (recent, long past, happy, sad, silly), mostly organised by season. Iintend to make illustrations/prints based on the memories I collect, then I'll display them more excitingly! These memories belong to different people. Keeping everything anonymous at the moment but if I'm given personal details and people want to be credited that can change. Mmmmemories...
- One winter I lost my favourite hat in the field behind my house. In the spring I found bits of it in a fallen birds nest.
- Walking to sainsbury's and enjoying the earthy just rained
smell.
- The moment that comes every year when you realise that the days are getting longer, I love that.
- Drinking fruit beer with my boyfriend in the park and watching birds.
- A hug that turned into a first kiss on the platform of a train station at night.
- Going to a beach with my boyfriend and sitting on a rock eating sweets, watching a fly with one wing jump over cracks. Then I drew and he read. Just before we left I dropped my favourite pencil sharpener into the water, it was a globe, I was sat on a rock and the water was all around. I tried to reach it, but it floated away.
- After my grandpa's funeral we went out into the crematorium garden area where there was a long rectangular pond. In the pond there was a fish, it was about 3ft long and very fat, it was very cute, but I don\'t think it could turn round in the pond to swim the other way.
- My first ice cream of the year, it was a mint feast.
- We used to roll down the hill in the park..so fun! But then I wqatched 999 and someone rolled down a
hill into a bees nest and I've been scared to do it ever since.
- Cherry blossom viewing, shrine near house with steps...took bento...eating feasts beneath the blossoms.

- My babies were born, both were happy..swam alot...first baby was quick and easy.
- Colour of fresh new sprouting leaves from the empty bush on the way to Primary School.
- Walking with my grandparents and learning flowers...daffodil, tulip, grape hyacinth, forget-me-not, margherite.
And pretending to be Red Riding Hood in my red coat as we went through bluebell wood.
- Egg hunts.
- Lindt chocolate rabbits...which I don't even like the taste of.
- Being taken to the zoo and having a picnic with my partner. And petting a fat woolly sheep!
- Eating over ripe victoria plums in my grandparents garden, sometimes they had maggots in.
- Swimming naked in a river as a child and getting swept far down stream.
- Feeding ducks in Derbyshire, the light shining through leaves onto the water making pretty patterns.
- Camping with my family in cornwall, drinking options hot chocolate orange flavour, eating sandy snickers on the beach. Then one year a storm broke our tent and we had to stay up all night holding onto it so it didn\'t fly away. We never went back to cornwall after that.
- Going for a picnic on my old school field with my two best friends, on the way there we saw a furry caterpillar.
- Eating goats cheese in Austria in my friends wooden holiday house, it was delicious. Earlier that day we went mushroom hunting in a forest. All the rivers there were an amazing colour.
- Cycling around Munich in the sunshine with a friend I had missed and feeling content. We cycled around the English gardens, we got to a massive grassy meadow full of long grass and flowers, it smelt so goood.
- Being in a car crash with my dad, soundtracked to Gloria Estefan.
- Getting horribly drunk on gin at a BBQ, sitting crying on the pavement, vomiting on my hand and then telling my boyfriend that I loved him for the first time before passing out.
- Grooming an ex boyfriends horse, he used to flick me with his tail, but I still enjoyed it.
- Driving to glastonbury in a vw beatle, it broke down at the petrol station near my house.
- Melted sports mix in my car.
- Dancing at reading festival, wearing bin liners with my bestest friends.
- Eating elderberries from trees in the field behind my house then having a sore tummy.
- Mum making lollys out of juice in a mold. All my friends had those freezypops in a tube but we weren't allowed cuz we had home made
lollys. I was always embarrassed to give my friends lollys cuz they had cool ones and ours were home made.
- First time I met my wife it was a homestay in Japan. She was waiting for me at the airport with the organiser of Young Abroad Club. We went to get green tea and I thought 'she looks pretty'.

- Festivals, tents in a circle, bbq, chirping grasshoppers
- Being fed potato in the rain beneath an umbrella while bands played
- Upon learning that mosquitos suck blood through a straw I let one feed on my hand so I could
watch and see it's straw. 'Look mum, a mosquito sucking blood through a straw!' I said. She slapped it away and
told me off but it was too late. My bite was huge, itchy and regretted.
- Eating strawberries anddrinking cava in the park in the sun. Walking home drunk and kissing my friend.
- Time to play in the field! Handstands cartwheels and throwing sticky plants on each others backs.
- Starting at college, I used to dye my hair so much it was like straw, I used to put cinnamon lip balm on it to smooth it a little.
- Dry leaves, I love to kick them. When we kept Guinea pigs my dad would collect the dry leaves and put them in the guinea pig\'s run, then we\'d put the pigs in and they\'d sink into the leaves. I think they enjoyed it.
- Being heart broken and trying to eat cereal, it would take me the whole day to finish a bowl.
- Flying over the alps on the way to Italy, it was so clear and beautiful, it made my eyes watery.
- Moving into university halls, I wore my mint green skirt.
- Dressing up as a robot on halloween and playing singstar with my uni friends.
- Drinking red wine and dipping salt and vinegar pringles into the wine.
- The first time my boyfriend made me scrambled eggs. It took him half an hour. But he does make the best eggs ever.

- Night before I started uni my ex kissed me for hours on the swings, told me what to expect and
tucked my hair behind my ear. Told me about a letter he'd sent me months previously, 6 pages long
with drawings on the envelope. It never arrived. I still want to read it but I never will.
- Walking home from primary school and seeing a mouse in the hedge.
- Karatsu Festival
- Walking along the canal in Leicester for miles and miles on my own. Spending time feeling completely alone and tiny in the cold, surrounded by dark cloudy skies and bare trees in wintery bitter cold always felt like medicine.
- Driving home with my parents from university at christmas, enjoying the darkness of the country side and twinkly street lights flashing by. The feeling of traveling home was such a relief that year.
- Making soup when I got home from lessons, it would be dark outside and the kitchen windows would steam up.
- The wind in Leicester was always brutal in winter, as a skirt wearer this meant I was constantly holding my skirt down and trying to keep my hair out of my eyes.
- Traveling very far by train to see someone who I loved for the last time and knowing deep down that it would be the last time.
- The first christmas I remember I got a giant scary make up head. The box was nearly as tall as me.
- Every christmas going to the same pub for dinner with my grandparents. Everyone putting on silly hats and my grandma getting drunk.
- Playing in the snow with my sister, she'd always get cold and fed up before me and go inside, then I\'d be sad.
- Me and my sister pretending to be dragons with our misty breath in the cold. Pretending to be Eustace as a dragon from the Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
- 1961 was a particularly cold winter. I was 5 and was in Scotland with family. Traumatising. Hated every second. Always shivering. I suffered most. The others had fun.
- Hot baths
- First trip to England..skies were so grey and it was dark by 4..that was my first impression. Lovely to wander in fields with sheep though. So unique -I'd only ever seen sheep in zoos before.
- Sharing a bed with my sister every Chritmas and peeping in our stockings as soon as we could!
- Getting given lego for Christmas and making ducks with my dad
out of 2 yellow bricks that swam on the plastic film of the lego box.
- Crunching frosty grass and cracking iced over puddles.

- Pretending Granny's fluffy white carpet was snow.
- My old house mates always cooking mini pizzas
- I once stole an old pair of my grandma's false teeth by putting them in a bag with the magazines and sweets that she used to get for us. Everyone thought my grandma had put them in the bag. I\'m not sure why I did it.
- My sister and I annoying my mum to the point where she threw a box of crayons at us.
- Holding hands with my first boyfriend in the cinema, it was so thrilling.
- Watching Seinfeld and eating jaffa cakes with a very good friend.
- When I realised I wanted to marry my husband and probably stay in England the rest of my life, so far away from Japan.
I asked my parents 'is that alright? can i go?' They weren't happy, esp my dad because it was so far. But they said if it would
make me happy they would be happy.
